Candy Spice by Amy Jo
In honor of our first Sleeve collaboration with Amy Jo, we reached out and asked her to answer a few questions to help us learn a little bit more about her, and her inspiration for Candy Spice.
Hi Amy, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Amy! I am originally from a small town in Minnesota but moved to San Diego when I was 18! I am a major cat mama and have 2 fur babies of my own. I had VSG on July 30, 2019 and have maintained a 120 pound weight loss since!
That is incredible! What motivated you during your weight loss journey?
Honestly what motivated me most was just remembering where I came from. There was a point in time when I couldn’t even do body weight exercises or go on long walks. Basic daily things caused me pain and discomfort. I never want to feel that low ever again, and that’s what keeps me going!
What advice would you give to someone just starting a fitness/weight loss journey?
KEEP GOING! Progress takes time and consistency! It doesn’t happen overnight and there are always going to be things that come up in life. You can either use that as an excuse, or you can continue to show up and get closer to your goals!

We 100% agree with that statement! Now finally, can you tell us about the inspiration behind the design of your sleeve?
I knew I wanted to do something colorful to help capture my vibe and personality. I also knew I wanted to do something unlike any other sleeve you have currently! I love the rainbow and boho vibe, so I decided to go off of that! It came out just how I wanted, and I truly couldn’t love it any more!
